The Aboriginal people of Australia used eucalyptus sap, or ‘gum’, applied directly to their wounds to speed up healing. Lemon eucalyptus is best known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic properties. Soothing to the skin, it is also recommended for arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
It has a fresh, lemony scent.
