A 100% natural deodorant, free from parabens and aluminium chlorohydrate. These two properties make potassium alum stone an excellent sweat regulator, reducing (without stopping) the flow of sweat; the alum deposit also helps to limit the growth of bacteria responsible for unpleasant odours. Alum stone is therefore a natural deodorant that does not interfere with the natural process of perspiration, whilst acting on the skin’s surface to reduce the risk of bacterial penetration. Potassium alum is also used as a shaving aid; it reduces razor burn and prevents the appearance of unsightly spots. Alum stone is also excellent to use before shaving with an electric razor, as it helps to stiffen the hair, making it easier to cut.
