Like all cymbopogons, Java Lemongrass is a herb native to Indonesia, Nepal with long, narrow leaves, stems and equally linear inflorescences. Lemongrass are large perennial herbs, wild or cultivated in tropical regions: Java, Sri Lanka… Its fresh, green, lemony smell is similar to that of lemon balm to which it is sometimes substituted.

 Citronella from Java is mainly anti-infectious and anti-inflammatory, it is used externally in inflammatory and rheumatic pathologies. It repels mosquitoes and relieves bites. It cleans polluted interiors.

Slightly sweet and floral lemony smell.
