The Juniper is native to Europe. This bushy shrub, found in mountainous regions, heathlands and glades throughout the northern hemisphere, has very narrow leaves ending in a sharp point. The berries are globose, first green then bluish black and covered with wax when ripe.

It fights all pain and has expectorant, anti-catarrhal and antiseptic properties used in cases of bronchitis or rhinitis.
